Brad Manzo is a freelance journalist, award-winning humor writer, speaker, business/tech writer, and writing instructor. His articles have appeared in magazines such as the Writer, Animation, Writer’s Digest, and RealScreen (to name just a few). His writing has also appeared in books, newsletters, and on the Web. Brad also teaches “Get to the Point: Writing for Business” at Hofstra University and provides a training course on business writing essentials.
When not teaching or writing serious pieces, he writes an insightful –okay, maybe not so insightful– bi-weekly humor column, The Imperfect Man, that appears in the Rockaway Point News. Several of his columns have earned finalist, semi-finalist and honorable mention honors in humorpress.org’s “America’s Funnies Humor contest.” He recently made his comedy debut as a showcase reader for DimeStories reading one of his humor columns, “Boys Will Be Boys.”
He’s also an aspiring sitcom writer whose spec script for “The Simpsons” earned honorable mention honors in the 72nd Annual Writer’s Digest Wriitng Competition.
